Who We Are

Suede’s first collection debuted in 2006. The current collection for Spring/Summer 2008 reflects the Suede brand of clever fashion-forward design with classic construction and attention to detail.

Every Suede collection is made with specific design objectives in mind.

Suede Design objectives.

1 Style
Suede is dedicated to designing items that are directional, without being a shallow reflection of trends. Our products stand on their own merit, and all details are added with an eye to value or function. We believe that form and function go hand in hand.

2 Quality
Suede is dedicated to quality; this means using superior materials and manufacturing standards in order to create products that will have years of usefulness ahead of them. We believe that using environmentally sound materials will not only create superior products but will help to improve the overall quality of our shared environment.

3 Clever
We examine our designs not only for their exterior “look” but also for their function – look for a smart twist or an extra detail in every style. We believe our customers are clever - we strive to meet their expectations.

4 Happy
We strive to design products for everyday use that will bring a smile to your face. We believe that what makes you happy are innovative, stylish products. We believe that “happy” has no formula, but is the sum of the first 3 points.

Our Road:

Our bags are more than just beauties; they’ve got brains, too. We put a lot of thought into how all of our bags are made – that is why we don’t use any pvc or leather, both of which carry a lot of toxic baggage. We prefer to tread a little lighter; so all of our bags are made with PU or other innovative fabrics that are more gentle on our shared environment.

SUEDE is eco gone glam. We promise to continually seek ways to create our products in an environmentally responsible manner – while always remaining chic, fashion forward, and fun. SUEDE is cleverly beautiful, and beautifully smart about how we make our bags.
